If instead you are looking to do something custom, the tool gives you flexibility to do so. Read the following paragraph if you want to customize.
How the FLV tool works
It will generate an URL of the type:
You can change this URL to customize your needs. Here’s a list of the parameters that you can use, and their possible values. You can use them in any order, and the only required ones are “sitename” and “video”.
?sitename=
Required parameter. It must be the name (without “http://“) of one of the sites of the CandidLooks portfolio.
Example: ?sitename=zuzinka.com
?video=
Required parameter. It must be one of the currently available FLVs.
Example: ?video=ZU_gas_station.flv
?template=
Optional. If you omit it, the FLV will be played without a template around it(useful e.g. for inclusion in an iframe, see below)
If a template is given, it must be one of the available templates for each site.
Example: ?template=ZU01
?siteid= , ?refcode=
Optional. It builds your referral link for the Verotel affiliation program.
If used in combination with a template, every link to the promoted site in the template will be replaced by a referral link, crediting your sales.
Get from Verotel your refcode and siteid for the site you want to promote
Example: ?siteid=33216&refcode=0000000000000000
Note: if you don’t place any affiliation code in the URL, the FLV page will display a reminder on top.
If you still want to have no referral code (e.g. because you are iframing the player and you take care of the links yourself), then use the special keyword “self”, as in “?refcode=self”
?width=, ?height=
Optional. It allows you to customize the size of the player window. Especially useful if you are including the player in an iframe, to fit your layout.
Example: ?width=300&height=150
?autoplay=
Optional. If set to “false”, it will avoid automatically starting the video when the page is loaded. Default is “true”, i.e. video starts playing automatically.
Example: ?autoplay=false
?remark=
Optional. Appends an arbitrary string just below the player. You can use html in it.
Example: ?remark=<i>earn money</i>
How to link to a hosted FLV, fully built with a preexisting template
Just generate an URL using the tool, change your refcode in the URL, and point to it.
How to include the FLVs in your pages
If you wish to do so, you can include the videos directly in a page of yours. (You will then take care yourself of creating links with affiliation to be credited for your sales).
There are several ways to include the FLVs in your page, but the easiest is probably to use an iframe. Just place this code in the html of a page where you want to have a video:
